ABOUT OUR GUEST SPEAKER…

Paul Kobylarz

In 1989, I was called to serve the country of Sweden as a sports missionary. I used my professional hockey background along with the help of the local church to reach lost athletes with the gospel, build bridges from our church to the community, and to build Sweden’s first church-based (national) sports ministry called Sport for Life. Twenty years later, God has led thousands of youth and adults to the Lord and built historic bridges between the country’s two largest folk movements, church and sport. This pioneer process has had a major impact on Sweden and Europe. I have since then used this unique sports ministry experience, as well as the international network that God has blessed me with, to evolve sports ministry locally, nationally and globally, through two megachurches in the sports metropolis of Indianapolis, for the purpose of building bridges between church and sport, with the intention of transforming the sports community through faith and sports one person at a time.
