Our Guest Speaker, Gabbi Mucerino:
Gabbi recently completed her first tour as a U.S. diplomat at the Embassy in Seoul, South Korea. She previously interned for the State Department in the Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues and at the U.S. Embassy in Manila, Philippines.
Before joining the Foreign Service, Gabbi gained experience in government relations at Baylor University and the law firm Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP. In 2020, she was inducted into the Baylor University Political Science Hall of Fame as the first recipient of the prestigious Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Fellowship. After graduating from Baylor, she pursued a Master of Law and Diplomacy at the Fletcher School at Tufts University in Boston, which she completed in 2022. She then began her training and commission as a Foreign Service Officer.
Gabbi speaks Korean and enjoys studying it to maintain fluency. That said, her longest—and most cherished—role is being Gregg Mucerino’s daughter. When she’s home in Texas, you’ll find her biking with family or playing pickleball with her dad.
