Nick & Laura Courchesne
Nick and Laura Courchesne met through the young adult ministry at Compass Christian Church and have been married for 14 years. They spent about 5 years in East Asia doing ministry in a variety of ways including discipling drug addicts and abandoned at-risk youth, and bringing the gospel to minority people who had never heard the name of Jesus before. During this time, they witnessed many miracles and saw God bring freedom to people who had lived in spiritual bondage their whole lives. Nick and Laura are still in ministry in the DFW area where they live with their 2 children. Nick helps refugees in Dallas start their own businesses giving them hope of a future and stability for their families, while Laura does pastoral care for their organization’s global workers.
